Editing

My standard editing service covers the following:

bulletCorrection of all grammatical errors
bulletChecking the style, including capitalization and punctuation
bulletSpell checking the document for the appropriate form of English
bulletEnsuring that each sentence is correct and makes sense
bulletLimited rearrangement of the text to improve the flow of ideas and enhance readability

It does not include major changes to the text. More extensive help can be provided to the extent that the I am competent in the field, but will generally involve additional cost. This will not be undertaken without the consent of the author, of course.

I am familiar with both American and British usage and can edit your manuscript according to the norms of either style.

Rewriting

Help can be provided with rewriting and organizing material, depending both on my familiarity with the subject and the needs of the author. It is also possible to arrange on-site consultation on the preparation of scientific reports and documents. This type of work requires special arrangements and each case will be handled individually.

Guarantee

While it is not possible to promise publication of any paper, I guarantee the quality of my editing, and if your paper is rejected or returned for corrections to the English that I have edited, any additional necessary changes will be made free of charge.

It also sometimes happens that reviewers and editors recommend or introduce their own errors in English. This is common when the author uses technical terms with which the reviewer or editor is not familiar. If this happens, I will help you deal with it at no additional charge.
