Conversion RatesThere are 200 Portuguese escudos ($) to the euro, so the base rate of €6.00 per 100 words is equivalent to 12$00 per word, or around $10 US (or $10 Canadian) per 100 words. There are approximately 300 words on a page (double-spaced 12 point type), so this comes to about €18.00 or 3.600$00 per page of solid text, or $30 per page. (The price in US or Canadian dollars is about 10% higher than the official exchange rate, both to allow for fluctuations in exchange and because of difficulties arranging fund transfers. No matter where you are, payment in Euros is always acceptable.) |
